TLC Family Dentistry
If you are experiencing a dental emergency, we can help. We understand that dental emergencies can happen at any time. It is best to treat them as soon as possible.
Here are the most common oral injuries and what must be done before treatment:
Knocked-out tooth: Replacing a knocked-out tooth is pretty straightforward. The dentist will remove the broken tooth, clean the socket, and fill it with a dental implant or denture.
Chipped tooth: The dentist will remove the chipped portion of your tooth and cover the area with a restoration such as a veneer or crown. If the chip is too large for a veneer, you may need a crown to close up the gap.
Suffering from bleeding gums: Bleeding gums are sometimes caused by gum disease. When this occurs, you may need to have your gums treated, and a periodontal probe is taken to check the health of your teeth and gums.
